Ultrasonic Dishwasher Usage Steps

  Ultrasonic Dishwashers rely on the bursting force of tiny bubbles generated by high-frequency vibrations to remove grease. Suitable for commercial settings such as restaurants and canteens, they can also be used for cleaning small household tableware. The usage process should follow "pre-treatment → placement → parameter setting → operation," with the specific steps as follows:

  1. Pre-treatment

  (1) Remove large food scraps (such as bones, leftover rice, vegetable leaves, etc.) from the surface of the tableware. Excessive rinsing is unnecessary; residual fine grease can be decomposed by ultrasound. Excessive rinsing wastes water.

  (2) Remove unsuitable tableware: Wooden tableware, heat-sensitive plastics, silverware, knives, etc., are strictly prohibited (wood easily absorbs water and deforms, silverware may oxidize, and sharp knives can easily scratch the inner liner or damage the tableware itself).

  2. Tableware Placement

  (1) Select the appropriate rack (bowl rack, plate rack, cup rack, etc.) according to the type of tableware. Place bowls with the rim facing down and plates and dishes at an angle, ensuring that the tableware surfaces do not overlap. (2) Small tableware (chopsticks, spoons, forks) should be placed in a dedicated chopstick holder or mesh basket to prevent floating; fragile items such as stemmed glasses and glassware should be secured in the cup holder slots to prevent breakage from vibration and collision.

  (3) Tableware should be placed below the water level line of the inner tank and away from the ultrasonic transducer area (bottom or side wall of the inner tank) to prevent direct impact and damage to the transducer.

  3. Parameter Settings

  (1) Adding Water and Setting the Water Level: Commercial models can be manually or automatically added until the water level reaches the standard water level line marked on the inner tank (too low a water level will cause the ultrasonic transducer to burn out, too high a water level will easily overflow). (2) Set the cleaning mode according to the degree of soiling of the tableware: Light oil stains (e.g., cold drink cups, small plates): Select standard mode, set the time to 5–10 minutes, and the temperature to 40–50℃; Heavy oil stains (e.g., hot pot bowls, stir-fry plates): Select powerful mode, set the time to 15–20 minutes, and the temperature to 50–60℃ (high temperature can enhance the oil dissolving effect); Fragile tableware (e.g., ceramic cups, bone china plates): Select gentle mode to shorten the cleaning time and reduce power.

  4. Start-up

  (1) Confirm that the door is well sealed, press the start button, and the equipment will first fill with water to heat up (if it has a heating function), then the ultrasonic generator will start and begin cleaning.

  (2) Do not open the door during operation to avoid scalding from hot water splashing out, and also to prevent ultrasonic energy leakage from affecting the cleaning effect.
