Applications of Integrated Fume Purifiers
2025-11-29 09:32:28

Integrated Fume purifiers are kitchen appliances that combine fume extraction, purification, and emission functions. Their core purpose is to solve the problem of oil fume pollution generated during cooking. They are suitable for home kitchens, small and medium-sized restaurants, canteen kitchens, and other similar settings. Specific applications can be categorized into three types:

  1. Purifying Fumes and Improving Indoor and Outdoor Environments

The integrated unit contains built-in filters, high-voltage electric fields, and other purification components, which can efficiently capture grease particles and odor molecules in the fumes.

  (1) Indoors: Prevents fumes from adhering to walls, cabinets, and kitchenware surfaces, reducing kitchen grease buildup and cleaning difficulty; it also prevents fumes from spreading to living rooms, bedrooms, and other areas, maintaining fresh indoor air and reducing the health risks of family members inhaling fumes.

  (2) Outdoors: The purified gas can be directly emitted at low altitudes without the need for separate high-altitude exhaust pipes, significantly reducing the pollution of surrounding residents and the environment, meeting the environmental standards for fume emissions in the catering industry, and avoiding complaints caused by fumes disturbing residents. 2. Simplified Installation, Adaptable to Various Kitchen Scenarios

Compared to the separate combination of a range hood and a separate air purifier, the all-in-one unit has a compact structure, eliminating the need for complex pipe connections and space planning.

  (1) Home Scenarios: Suitable for small kitchens and open kitchens. Installation simply requires fixing it above the stove, saving space and not disrupting the overall kitchen decor.

  (2) Commercial Scenarios: Suitable for small and medium-sized catering establishments such as fast food restaurants, snack shops, and milk tea shops, especially street-front shops and stalls in shopping malls where high-altitude exhaust pipes cannot be installed, directly meeting compliant exhaust requirements.

  3. Reduced Operating Costs and Enhanced Ease of Use

  (1) Cost Aspect: The all-in-one unit integrates multiple functions, resulting in lower procurement costs than separate equipment. Furthermore, no additional costs are required for pipe modifications or accessory adaptations during installation. Energy consumption is more concentrated during operation, reducing idle energy loss. (2) Maintenance: The integrated design makes cleaning and maintenance more convenient. Users only need to clean the filter or electric field periodically, without having to maintain the range hood and purifier separately, reducing the time and labor costs of later maintenance.

How to Clean a Smokeless BBQ cart

The core components of a smokeless BBQ cart include the BBQ grill body, the fume purification electric field/filter, the fan, and the oil collection box. Cleaning should be done according to the steps of "disassembling after power failure → cleaning each component → drying and resetting," taking into account both cleaning effect and equipment lifespan. The specific process is as follows:

  1. Cleaning the BBQ grill body and grill net

  (1) Grill net: Soak in hot water with detergent for 20-30 minutes to soften the charred stains and oil on the grill net. Use a soft brush to repeatedly scrub the crevices. For stubborn charred stains, use a steel wool pad to gently scrub (avoid scratching the grill net coating). Finally, rinse with clean water. (2) Furnace interior: Wipe the oil stains and food residue on the inner wall of the furnace with a cloth dampened with detergent. If there is accumulated ash, sweep it out first before wiping. Wipe the exterior of the furnace with a damp cloth to avoid detergent residue affecting the next use.

  (3) Oil collection tray/collection box: Pour out the waste oil inside, soak it in detergent, and then scrub it to remove grease and ensure there are no residual oil stains (to prevent the growth of bacteria or odors).

  2. Cleaning of core components of fume purification

  (1) Electrostatic field cleaning (mainstream purification method)

Soaking to remove oil: Place the electric field in a bucket of water containing diluted detergent, ensuring the plates are completely submerged. Soak for 30-60 minutes to allow the oil stains to fully dissolve.

Scrubbing and rinsing: Gently brush the surface and crevices of the plates with a soft brush to remove stubborn oil stains. Be careful not to bend the plates or touch the discharge needles (deformation of the discharge needles will affect the purification effect). Then use a high-pressure water gun to rinse from the inside to the outside of the plates until the water is clear and free of oil. Commercial Advanced Cleaning: The electric field of large Barbecue Carts can be placed in an ultrasonic cleaner for 15-20 minutes to more thoroughly remove stubborn grease from the plates and improve purification efficiency.

  (2) Filter Cleaning (Filter-type Purification Vehicles)

Filters are divided into metal filters and activated carbon filters. Metal filters are washable: soak in detergent, brush, and rinse with clean water. Activated carbon filters are not washable; replace them directly when saturated (recommended replacement every 1-2 months, shortening to half a month for scenarios with heavy oil fumes).

  3. Fan and Pipe Cleaning

Fan Impeller: Wipe the surface of the impeller with a cloth dampened with detergent. If the grease is thick, spray with detergent, let stand for 10 minutes, and then wipe. Never rinse the motor directly with water to prevent short circuits.

Exhaust Pipe: If the barbecue cart has an exhaust pipe, use a soft brush to clean the inside of the pipe, or use a high-pressure water gun to rinse the inner wall to ensure the pipe is unobstructed (oil buildup in the pipe can easily cause a fire hazard).
