Usage Instructions
1. Pre-Power-On Preparation: First, ensure the equipment casing is properly grounded to avoid static electricity during use. Next, fill the water tank to 1/3 full. Overfilling may overflow and affect the circuit; underfilling will prevent the formation of an effective water film to intercept oil fumes. Simultaneously, place the oil collection box at the bottom oil drain and the slot below the fan to prevent oil dripping. Finally, check the electrical box for loose or disconnected plug wires, activate the leakage protection device, and confirm that there are no obstructions blocking the air intakes on both sides.
2. Power-On and Operation: First, turn on the fan switch and hold for 30 seconds to allow a stable airflow to form in the duct. Then, turn on the purification switches on both sides sequentially to prevent backflow of oil fumes. During grilling, the airflow adjustment panel at the vents can be used to adjust the suction intensity on both sides according to the amount of oil fumes produced by the food. If an external exhaust duct is connected, ensure the duct is at least 25 cm long and no more than 6 meters in length. If it exceeds these limits, it is recommended to install a traction fan to prevent affecting the suction effect on both sides. If the new machine experiences arcing in the purification field, it usually recovers automatically within a few minutes. If the indicator light continues to flash, power off and straighten the misaligned field.
3. Shutdown Procedure: First, turn off the grill. Keep the fan and purification system running for 10 minutes to ensure that residual fumes in the air duct are thoroughly purified and discharged. Then, turn off the purification switch and fan in sequence. Finally, disconnect the main power supply to prevent residual fumes from adhering to the components.
Cleaning Points:
1. Daily Quick Cleaning (After Each Use): First, clean both air intakes. The first air intake is prone to grease buildup. Remove the baffle screws, scrape off the surface grease with a spatula, and then reinstall it. This step is recommended every 7-10 days. The second air intake only needs to be cleaned about once a month. Then, remove the filter and rinse it with clean water. If the grease is heavy, soak it in warm water with a neutral detergent. Cleaning it about every 7 days can prevent blockage and affect airflow. Finally, empty the grease collection box, wipe it clean, and reinstall it. Also, simply wipe the surface of the grill body for grease.
2. Deep Cleaning (approximately every 3 months): First, disconnect the power and unscrew the screws to remove the purification electric field. For stainless steel cores, use caustic soda with a concentration of 90% or higher, diluted with warm water according to the specified ratio, and soak the electric field for 5-10 minutes to dissolve heavy grease. After soaking, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Note that aluminum cores should not be cleaned with caustic soda to avoid corrosion. Next, drain the water tank and rinse the inner liner with clean water and a degreaser to remove grease and impurities settled at the bottom. Clean the filter and nozzles inside the water tank to prevent clogging. Finally, rinse both sides of the air duct with clean water to ensure no grease residue remains. Allow all parts to dry completely before reinstalling.
Maintenance Details
1. Regular Component Inspection: Check the sealing strips of both sides of the air intake weekly. Replace them promptly if they show signs of aging or damage to prevent oil fume leakage. Check the fan operation monthly. If abnormal noise is heard, it may be due to grease buildup on the impeller. Open the double-door inspection port to clean the impeller. Also check the pin-type wiring for tightness to prevent loose wiring from affecting equipment operation after cleaning.
2. Maintenance of Vulnerable Parts: Replace the filter screen promptly if damaged to prevent large particles from entering the air duct. If the plates of the purification electric field are deformed, gently straighten them to ensure uniform spacing and optimal purification effect. If the nozzles in the water tank have uneven water output, clear the orifices with a fine needle to prevent interference with water film formation.
3. Long-Term Inactivity Maintenance: After thoroughly cleaning the entire machine, drain all water from the water tank and dry the inner liner to prevent corrosion. Apply food-grade anti-rust oil to the surfaces of metal parts such as the air intake baffle and baking tray. Cover the entire machine with a dust cover and place it in a dry, well-ventilated area to prevent moisture from entering the air intakes and electrical box. Before restarting, test the operation of the air intakes, fan, and purification system to ensure they function normally. Only put the machine into use if no abnormalities are found.
